The Super Nintendo Redesign SNS-101 features a simplified design compared to the original SNES. It combines design elements from both the original Japanese/European and North American models, but in a smaller size. The reset and power buttons have been relocated to the left-hand side of the system, and the LED indicator and eject button have been removed. Cartridges must now be manually removed.
Unlike the original SNES, this redesign does not have a bottom expansion slot. The AV output uses the same multi-out port as the original console. However, the redesigned model only supports composite video, as support for S-Video and RGB Video has been disabled internally.
